Infants

Our classroom day reflects a balance of on-demand care and developmentally appropriate activities to support infant development.  The children’s care schedules are maintained and enhanced with: 

• Floor time – with a focus on tummy time – to ensure motor development, encourage independent movement, and engage the senses

• Fine and gross motor practice, especially through cause-and-effect activities

• Neighborhood walks in our buggies that extend their exposure to the world around them and provide visual and auditory stimulation

Our infants’ entire day is filled with plenty of love and affection to support a strong sense of trust and confidence in our youngest learners.
